i’ve been so busy this past week. the best part of it was when i met laura and becky (two members of my message board)! outside of the fanforum crashdown party i’d never met anyone from online before. it was amazing. we were in beverly hills and went to see the stars. it’s been a long time since i was social outside of work or school and i really enjoyed myself. being an idiot, i forgot my camera.
the poetry reading last week was wonderful. i’d never heard of bh fairchild before but his reading was fantastic. i usually hate poems about the country but he made them accessible and compelling. i actually wrote a poem based off an idea i got from the reading.
i have to revise two poems and put together one more (i think) by tomorrow. i have the new ones ready but not the revisions. i don’t know how i’ll change them. nervous!
i think i’m shy with my scars around people who know i have them. i wore my coat most of the time on monday because i wasn’t sure what to do.
